Eyeko Black Magic Mascara
So I realized I haven't reviewed a beauty product in a while... I haven't been lacking products to review I just keep getting distracted by other awesome things.I have reviewed the eyeko eyeliner (which is a great eyeliner)- but eyeko's black magic mascara is one of my absolute favorite go-to mascaras. It has really unique packaging with a flexible tube instead of the standard formed, hard plastic tubes. Plus it has a easy to use sickle shaped brush.Mascara is an absolute must for my daily makeup routine- my hair is naturally a dirty blonde color (I dye it to a dark dark brown) so my eyelashes are fairly invisible without mascara. Mascara does more do brighten and emphasize my eyes than eyeliner can. I don't need anything crazy dramatic like fake lashes for my everyday look- I just want a little definitely around my eyes. What is really awesome is one coat is perfect for my everyday work look and then another coat later is perfect for a slightly more intense night out look. PLUS- It doesn't flake or smear (it uses a water-resistant formula)- but it doesn't take much to remove like other mascaras. This is a curling mascara- but it not only adds a bit of curl (from the sickle shaped brush) but it makes my lashes look insanely long. I struggle a lot with volumizing mascaras making my lashes gloopy and clumpy. I also never seem to get the results that lengthening mascaras boast. It is all about the curl!Just like the eyeliner - this mascara uses a paraben-free formula which is a big deal for me. This mascara is awesome too because it is infused with shea butter and keratin which strengthens and protects your lashes from breakage (did you know that is an issue and reason your lashes may look short and thin?).I highly recommend this mascara to anyone
