about
okay miss is a creative playground and digital art shop.
It all started as a blog… years and years ago.
Kynley had just graduated from college and started a new job in the corporate world. She realized quickly - while she loved her job she needed an escape from the corporate experience. She missed school and the creative space it had fostered. She began creating a private space where she could create and design undeterred by a leadership team and business objectives… space where no one needed to approve what she was creating.
With her trusty iPad and Apple Pencil- she decompresses from her normal design job by painting (both digitally and physically), creating alphabets, greeting cards, and so more. All things art and design bring her joy.
about kynley
She’s a Colorado native- born and raised on the western side of Colorado in a small town called Cedaredge.
She fell in love with design when she was little- watching her mother scrapbook. When she was eight her mother bought an album just for Kynley- it sparked a life long passion. It was the act of creating collages and layouts that were beautiful and inspiring and capture emotional moments that connected with her instantly. While she doesn’t scrapbook much these days- the passion is still strong as ever.
In high school, she took every art class available and joined the yearbook team. She even became the yearbook editor-in-chief her junior and senior years.
Kynley went to the Art Institute of Colorado straight from high school. She now works full time as a product designer (see her professional portfolio)- designing complex web experiences for bigger companies. She needs a creative outlet so she started a little blog, then opened a little etsy shop… and now she’s here.

She’s a t-shirt and jeans girl- but always adds some funky accessories. She has a large collection of fun, eclectic jewelry that are usually from Etsy or artists in Colorado.
She’s short statured (5 foot 2 inches) but can’t bring herself to wear heals. In fact, she’s usually barefoot and working exclusively from home now. And yes- her hair is naturally curly (she gets asked all the time).
She’s married to her tall, dark, and handsome person (been married over a decade now) and they are the incredibly proud parents of a sweet and spunky daughter of four years.
And they know they need more family photos ASAP. :)
