Styled. Chic Summer to Fall.
So. It is August... and fall is coming and I'm pretty excited about the styles that come with it. Oh how I love layers and boots! My love of fall attire of course is making me itch to buy some fall clothes and break out some of my fall favorites, but it is still a little to hot for all those layers. I thought I would break down how I start working in my fall favorites without melting away and also how I will wear the adjust same outfit for the fall.My main thing with transitioning outfits it to stick with classic, sophisticated, and neutral colors.
1 | silky, flowy top
This top is one of my favorites- it is perfect all by itself for summer office attire. It is silky and light and feminine. The ruffles act as sleeve- but it is still a tank top which is perfect for summer. Plus the pattern is adorable so it still shine when layered. Shop This Top
2 | classic blazer
This would be an all fall piece (or maybe if you have cool mornings and a freezing office space). It is a classic wool blazer that is sharp and classic and screams fall. Shop This Blazer
3 | gray jeans
Yes- jeans... my number one go to closet item without question and no matter the season. Maybe shake up your jeans a little bit with the current, trendy gray color (I love it when trends are really neutral) that I am seeing all over the place. Gray will easily transition into fall without any hiccups (but regular jeans will of course... if you're not into this trend). Shop These Jeans
4 | Classy stud earrings
I think these oversized, white studs really compliment the shirt nicely- I think they complete the summer and fall version of this outfit perfectly without being over powering or too subtle. Shop These Earrings
5 | neutral belt
Just a thick classic belt with matching hardware. A simple necessity for me... my curvy body always needs a belt. Plus it helps break up a neutral outfit when you half tuck your shirt. Shop This Belt
6 | statement bracelet
When I wear a very neutral color palette I like to bring out bold statement jewelry pieces to add a little sparkle and fun. This is a great bracelet that compliments the earrings without being matchy-matchy. Shop This Bracelet
7 | ankle boots
The ankle boots are also an all fall piece- I personally don't like covering up my feet to much in the summer as I hate hate hate that hot, sweaty, swollen feet feeling. In the fall though- these boots shine and add that extra fall vibe to the outfit. Shop These Boots
8 | ballet flats
These ballet flats are the staple item nude- they add a little class without being to warm on your feet. This outfit would also look wonderful with a strappy healed sandal or a sophisticated d'orsay flat. Shop These Flats
