Felt Tip Eyeliner Search.

2014_0122_felttip_eyeliners If you remember- I reviewed the eyeko liquid eyeliner (that was amazing but solo pricey) a while ago and decided I was on a mission to find a felt tip eyeliner that was amazing. So I am going to walk you through the different eyeliners that I found and tried (I know there are a lot more out there... these are just the ones that I got my hands on). I tried three higher end eyeliners and three drugstore eyeliners.1 // Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner | $16.00This one is the one that introduced me to a felt tip liquid eyeliner. It is probably one of my favorites ever. The main draw back is that the tip dries out fairly quickly which I find a little frustrating when I'm trying to get ready in the morning. I love the tip though and really love the smooth matte look it has when it is on.2 // stila stay all day® waterproof liquid eye liner | $20.00I will always love stila products- I love how well this one goes on and that the applicator doesn't dry out. The felt tip is not as stiff as I would love (like the Eyeko one) and can kind of feel more like a brush applicator for me.3 // Cynthia Rowley Beauty Liquid Liner | $18.00Unfortunately I did not like this one at all. It is quite possible that I got a bad batch- but the pigmentation with this one was very very lacking - I had to apply a layer and then wait for it to dry and the apply another layer (I had to do this four or five times to get the solid black look I want). Plus I the felt tip wasn't quite stiff enough. Overall I cannot really recommend this one.4 // COVERGIRL Bombshell Intensity Eye Liner | $6.99This one has a pretty fantastic price and it was most like the Eyeko that I first really loved. While the felt tip wasn't as stiff as Eyeko- it was pretty darn close. Oh and how about that price? I mean come on- fantastic price.5 // Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen | $7.79Oh man... I know I kept saying I wanted a stiff felt tip applicator- but this one was a little painful to try to apply the applicator was too stiff for me. Plus it took several short swipes to layer up enough color which I think added to making it hurt a little bit with the incredibly stiff felt tip.6 // L'Oreal Telescopic Precision Liquid Eyeliner | $8.99This is first time I have found a felt tip combined with a well- which I really liked overall. Honestly though (I know this sounds silly but) I didn't like having to dip and then redip half way through one eye and then dip again. Other than that though- this eyeliner with the felt tip was really wonderful- great pigmentation, really nice felt tip, and really pretty smooth matte color when it was dry.
