Found. For My Kitchen.
I've been decorating and crafting a ton with metallic colors mixed in with wood textures, poreclain whites, cool grays, and straight blacks. Metallics didn't really used to be my thing until just a year ago or so and I never really considered the idea of mixing different metallics together either- but its become my new favorite thing. Gold, bronze, and silver/pewter are starting to make a bit of an appearance all over my condo.Recently I've been specifically spending a lot more time in my kitchen with our restaurant budget cut down so much- and I'm starting to get into it. It has me day dreaming about ways to spruce up my kitchen.1. I think I have made it pretty clear that I love a raw wood grain and this reclaimed wood serving board is classic and simple and perfect.2. I'm heating up water with my kettle daily... and it would be fun to heat up my water in this pretty chantal copper tea kettle.3. The cover says generous vegetarian meals for any eater and any appetite which makes me want this cookbook almost as much as the photograph on the cover does.4. I love collecting cute mugs but have discovered that matching dinnerware looks better on my open shelving- these white porcelain mugs have character but still match my standard porcelain set.5. I keep drooling over flatware with a little personality like this set from IKEA which is unique but not so pricey.6. I'm really considering some new artwork for my kitchen... and I love the look and feel of this recipe print. I've been inspired.7. My mother had one of these victoria apple peelers when I was a kid- it peels, slices, and decores your apples for you. It is AMAZING!8. I hide my vinegar and oil away in my cupboards since they are in ghastly packaging... but these cruets are adorable and definitely countertop worthy.9. Can we just pause a moment to admire the beauty of this french press?10. I love love love the classic look of porcelain and this pitcher is just so classy.11. I love the hand dipped look that is super popular right now... these wood bowls look fantastic in white don't they?
