Governor House on Storkgatan.
I love a lot of cute little things about this home in Sweden- I love the string of lights in the kitchen, the wood countertops, the bunting flags in the living room, the fire place, the unique oversized light fixture in the living room, and the cute little teepee in the child's room. Cute cute home! The thing is though... I love the way this apartment looks all put the together, but the pieces I LOVE (except for the wood countertops) wouldn't fit into my home (and I love my home) unless I changed them a bit to match. Isn't it funny how you can love something... but recognize that it doesn't fit into your space? I think it is really important to have a coherent style and to stick with what looks awesome in your home. Your home should be yours... and not all the things you love crammed into one space.I've really had to work hard at that in my new place- letting go of a few things I love because they just won't fit. Or adjusting the things I love to make them work together with everything else. :) via alla bilder (google translate it)
