Switching to bareMinerals

So to start this out I have to explain that I am particularly blessed when it comes to acne- I have been my whole life. My mom taught me some essential tricks to fighting acne from a very young age, plus I guess I have pretty good genes overall in that regard. At my worst in high school - a bad day I have maybe three pimples at a time. Since hitting my twenties acne turned into a one pimple every six months type of occurrence. Hopefully I haven't fully alienated you with my 'almost perfect skin' story - I can assure you I have plenty of things to dislike about myself so you don't have to think I was really any different than any other high school girl.Anyway- two months ago I switched to an all natural foundation after my old one ran out. I discovered though that even if a product is all natural or organic- your skin may not like it (fancy that huh?). I started breaking out (like I did in high school) like every week. It was fairly horrible for me.So after a little research and a light sighing over the price of the all natural foundation that I was using - I finally made the switch to bareMinerals. I have been thinking about it for months and months... but never made the switch (don't ask me why... I thought it wasn't worth the price or something).Foundation AllOverFaceColor MineralVeil BrushesI picked up the Customizable Starter Kit (which was kind of an awesome deal) about a month ago from Ulta - who had a bareMinerals "specialist" who helped me match to my perfect shade - I'm the absolute palest pale of course which is also called fair (I don't tan... my skin rejects all pigmentation from the sun. Seriously... I either slather on the sunscreen or I burn and then the 'burn' doesn't even fade to a tan. I'm either fair or red but more on that later). The specialist did tell me to not use the Prime Time Foundation Primer for the time being - she was worried it might cause me to break out like the all natural makeup. So while I can't speak for the primer- I can tell you that I love bareMinerals foundation, all over color, and mineral veil. Pretty much does everything I want- I hate heavy makeup and don't like have a 'caked' feeling on my face. So the loose powder feels light and smooth, plus I don't need much of it to get the look I want so no caking even I use both the foundation and the all over color (so I don't look like a ghost). I do have to be a little bit careful with the all over color (the starter kit comes with the shade warmth) though... believe me when I tell you, a little bit goes a really really long way. Some days now all I do is use a little bit with the coverup brush and then through on the mineral veil. Plus- no more break outs (except one little incident - I'll explain later)! I truly couldn't be happier.
