Brick Walls
My hubby and I did some more house hunting over the weekend. Yeah... pause button didn't last long. I'll be totally honest with you- I'm not sure why were are hunting again because I truly thought we were pausing it for a while... but then we met with a realtor (whom my husband thought was awesome). Then we saw a couple for sale signs around our neighborhood the other day and were like... hey lets walk through them. sooo... yeah. I'm not 100% what's going on right now. All I know is that I would love to have a house/townhouse/condo... and I that I was prepared to squash that desire for a while.Anyway... sorry for the ramble... We saw this unbelievably awesome condo/loft on Sunday that both of us thought was fantastic and it fit into the budget my husband set - cause he is much smarter than I am when it comes to finances and what not... I pay the bills that come in the mail and he calculates mortgage payments in his head... crazy man huh?. Oh boy I can't stop rambling... sorry. So.... this awesome loft. It is in the same area as those much too expensive paired homes we saw... but is instead a condo with this amazing open floor plan and the master suite is set up in the upstairs loft. Plus it had these huge windows with an unbelievable view of Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Super cool.I love the idea of a loft- some old building that was transformed into a loft... with exposed brick and steal and i-beams everywhere. I'm thinking no matter what we find... I'm going to want to try to incorporate brick into the decor and that might very well mean faux brick (which I'm okay with... don't judge. I love the look I don't care if it is real brick). Check out some of my inspiration for my love of brick walls.
