a summer island retreat

I stumbled across this gorgeous and very summer worthy home in Shelter Island, New York. I love the soft tones and the clean feeling this home inspires.A lot of times I look at an home that is decorated in predominantly white and I worry it would begin to feel to sterile or cold- even though I love the way it looks. This lovely home still feel warm and inviting with accents of soft blues and wood textures- while still being very clean and white. I love that.I would love to just escape to this lovely home (or one very similar really - I'm sure the homeowners wouldn't appreciate me just dropping by for the summer!) on a beach somewhere.
