tiny spaces

My husband and I love the idea of building our own awesome little sustainable home. My husband often dreams about living in a super tiny home (like 300 square feet small). He likes it when we walk around IKEA and can walk through the tiny sample homes that are set up. Honestly- the idea makes struggle to breath a tiny bit. I don't want a huge house don't get me wrong- I just really want a home larger than a couple parking spaces you know? I like the size of our current apartment which is like 1000 square feet. There is space to keep things organized and clean and some room to grow into too (which I like that feeling- I don't really want to fill that space. I just like knowing it is there). Plus- the two bathrooms and double sinks in the master bathroom has only helped our relationship. ;)Anyway- I stumbled across this amazing tiny little home- it's adorable and open and airy feeling... and its only 240 square feet. So yes- living in that small of a space is doable. I love how it inspires people to be creative with the space and belongings. I can also see the merit in not having space to fill with items that you don't need.
