oven-baked sweet potato fries
I love sweet potato fries- and I particularly LOVE them with burgers. Today my husband wanted burgers for dinner which I had all the stuff to cover that- but I realized I was out of my frozen pack of sweet potato fries (which is usually how I make my sweet potato fries cause its easy). So in an effort to have sweet potato fries with our burgers I searched the internet to find a recipe that wasn't too difficult (since I had some plain ole sweet potatoes sitting around). So I was brave and I tried this recipe I found!
Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries
serves 4-61 – 1 1/2 lb sweet potatoes1/4 cup olive oil1/2 tsp kosher salt1/2 tsp paprika1/4 tsp cinnamonPreheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil (preferably the easy release kind).Peal the sweet potatoes. Cut into strips that are about 1/2 inch wide on each side.Place the sweet potatoes into a resealable plastic bag. Add oil, salt, paprika and cinnamon. Seal the bag and shake well to thoroughly coat the fries. Spread the potatoes out onto the baking sheet in a single layer.Cook for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes, until slightly browned. Transfer immediately to a paper towel lined plate and serve warm.*I found this on sarahcucinabella.com :)They were super good! My husband liked them too. I think I will have to cook them a bit longer next time because I like my fries a little crispier. :) **Plus sweet potato fries are so good for you! World’s Healthiest Foods
